Celsius is a brand of functional energy drink designed to support fitness and overall well-being.  They tasked us to build and stage a set for micro-detail focused video to be shot by a robotic arm, in studio, to conduct clean and smooth camera movement shots for a commercial.

We planned and executed three main sets for the in-studio shoot. 

 

The first being a minimal flat and reflective plane out of an elevated sheet of clear plexiglass, to ensure camera movements that could capture both above and below the cans.

The second being a mini-fridge without a bag panel staged for the robotic arm to capture the fridge opening and Jake Paul grabbing a can from inside.

The third being a cooler full of celsius cans on ice set on a mini lawn. The ice was fake to ensure the longevity of the shot. Additionally we set up a fish tank full of ice and water to simulate a hand reaching into the ice to grab a drink for the robotic arm to capture from below the water.

 

We focused on can placement, continuous misting of the cans, and thoughtful flavor pairings for optimal framing and an overall color balance to provide a variety of visual assets
