LEGO is everyone's favorite brand of colorful plastic blocks that can be easily interlocked to create a wide variety of structures and models.  Teaming up with Pharrell Williams, an American singer, songwriter, rapper, record producer, and fashion designer, they joined forces to release Piece By Piece, a vibrant journey through the life of Pharrell as told through the lens of LEGO bricks.

We were tasked by a LEGO Master Builder to create the center piece for the exclusive Los Angeles event showcasing the magical world of LEGO, imagined by Pharrell for his VIP artist talk about the recently released film. This center piece was to compliment the many activations throughout the space to cater to people freely walking through and around the installation itself.

We built a 10 foot tall replica of Pharrell's space ship from his own LEGO set.  This structure can be seen as a single structure from a set marker on the floor in the room, but the ship is built from 10 separate panels cascading forward to create the optical illusion of being one unit.

These individual pieces were LEGO plated, painted, and additionally decorated to mimic the original design from the smaller set he released for the Piece By Piece film.
